Challenge

The 10th Healing Arts Festival brought together wellness experts, celebrities, and over a hundred mini-events across two days at Regal Hotel Group’s SkyCity venue. The client’s goal was to capture the vibrant yet peaceful essence of the festival — showcasing both indoor and outdoor activities while maintaining a consistent brand tone that reflected wellness, balance, and energy.

The scale of the event introduced several challenges:

Over 100 simultaneous sessions across multiple locations.
Tight timeline and extended shoot from 8 to 12 hours daily.
Post-production revisions required executive-level approval, including last-minute changes to highlight specific celebrity appearances.

Approach

Our creative direction focused on immersive storytelling — capturing human connection, movement, and atmosphere through calm pacing and vibrant imagery.

Production strategy:

Deployed one experienced director/videographer and one assistant for full coverage.
Shot with Sony FX3 4K 60fps, using both indoor and outdoor natural lighting.
Utilized gimbal tracking, slow motion, 360° InstaCam, and time-lapse sequences to convey the event’s continuous flow.
Prioritized key brand elements: Regal’s logos, healing workshops, art installations, and outdoor performances.
Applied maximum color retention workflow with raw uncompressed footage for high-end post-production control.
Integrated animated text overlays to highlight event themes and sponsor visibility.

To stay on top of the hectic schedule, our team pre-listed all critical time slots and areas based on the festival rundown, ensuring every key moment — from celebrity interviews to yoga sessions — was captured seamlessly.

Result / Impact

The final 1-minute-41-second highlight video balanced tranquility and liveliness, perfectly reflecting the spirit of the Healing Arts Festival. The cinematic transitions, natural soundscape, and warm color palette created a soothing yet engaging experience.

The client praised the professionalism and flexibility of our crew, particularly the editor’s dedication in working overtime to meet the rapid turnaround and approval cycle. The final cut was completed in 7 working days (including additional revisions) and distributed across social media platforms and press releases, successfully amplifying the event’s reach.
